This is why my mom just declared, "That Lisa is going to be such a good mom." If it comes from Judy, you know it's true. Or whack-a-doodle, but more likely true.

Don't worry. I have plans to get my chin up in March. More than once I have declared February the official month of moping. Luckily, it's the shortest month, so, by the time I get my serious mope on, it's almost over.

I, too, am glad that none of the Jen/n's are suppressed. Just homosexual. It's so much happier for everyone that way.Alexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00893347878238444805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7289846.post-41994537745116504672009-02-23T09:47:00.000-06:002009-02-23T09:47:00.000-06:00You should date a few women, then you will attract...You should date a few women, then you will attract the attention of a few men - once they think you can't be had, they will get comfortable and you'll have a great time. I have met a lot of great men in my life, too bad, for them, I'm a lesbian. And who knows, maybe you'll like dating women! Ha ha ha - I said that for the one with all the N's - she's determined that almost everyone she knows is a supressed homosexual...lucky for her I'm not supressed, I'm just a homosexual.OneNhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06628203719488042695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7289846.post-76205688870084895382009-02-22T19:31:00.000-06:002009-02-22T19:31:00.000-06:00Oh, Alex, I'm sorry. I kept signing up for three months and then giving up in despair. And then I'd get depressed about not meeting men in person, so I'd get back on. I know nothing about men in Minneapolis, but I do know a lot of women who ultimately met men who were considering moving out of DC because of the ratio and general assholiness of a lot of self-important DC guys. Which is to say, I believe there are good men everywhere. And my fantasy of MN men is much like those in Chicago - sort of corn-fed (in a good way) and cute and friendly and nice.

Also, as for the setups - no no no - it's not that they don't think you're hot! They know you're fabulous. That's why they're trying to set you up. I am SURE it's not that anyone thinks men your age are out of your league - it's that they don't know any.

Hugs to you. You are lovely and an all-around catch. You just haven't met the person yet, but you will. And not only will he recognize how amazing you are, I am certain he will love breakfast as much as you do. Hang in there.Lemon Gloriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07280085058516960260noreply@blogger.com
