Ken Ken (or How I Spent My Morning)

Unfortunately, the online New York Times has six Ken Ken puzzles available for free. This means that while I've been awake since six, I am only just tearing myself away from my laptop to get started with my day. Furthermore, the Minneapolis paper is sitting on my doorstep as I write this, and I can hear the siren call of the puzzle from here. It could be noon before I shower.

It's not a big deal to waste one morning, right? It's gray outside, anyway, and all I have on my list of things to do today is a complete overhaul of my kitchen. I have time, right?

As someone who works every Saturday and Sunday, you'd think I'd be all into the "get up early and do stuff with your day off!" mentality.

Really, though, if I am ever off on a Sunday (about once every two months) I rarely am showered and dressed before noon.

I say laze around. Embrace the laze!

The greatest mental addiction ever, eh? I find if I spend the morning doing KenKen, the day is my oyster. I mean, what demands more concentration and mental acuity than KenKen?

Also, check out the KenKen page at The Math Mojo Chronicles

Do it to it Al. There's always time for one more puzzle.

You are just a puzzle whore Alex...plain and simple. And of course, there's nothing wrong with that! Funny, we get the Times delivered and I have never even seen the puzzles, I usually stick to the business section...that eats up my daily alloted reading time.

I have a subscription to the NYT online. If you ever needed some puzzles, you know....
